Nassau police say a man and woman used contacts made on a "swingers" Web site to meet and blackmail dozens of people.
According to police, Shawn Payne, with a screen name "Gina," and Michael Largue, called "Mr. Nice," blackmailed several people with whom they had sexual relations using videotapes and photos of the acts. One victim from upstate says she had sexual relations with Largue, of Franklin Square, who allegedly extorted $51,000 from her and coerced her into prostitution. A second victim, 43, of Garden City, claims Payne, of East Hampton, initially requested $51,000.
Police say they have photos of the pair with dozens of other people. They ask anyone who has been a victim of Largue or Payne to come forward and contact Nassau Crime Stoppers at (800) 244-TIPS. Crime Stoppers maintains the anonymity of all callers.
