Police in both Nassau and Suffolk counties increased patrols Saturday night at synagogues and places of worship as tensions increased in the Middle East.
Both agencies told News 12 there are no credible threats in either county.
Nassau and Suffolk police say they are monitoring for threats, working with their federal and state partners.
They urge residents who see any suspicious activity to call 911.
