There is one month left in the Summer of Hell and transportation changes have been announced.
Starting today, buses from Long Island park and rides will only run at the top of the hour. The half-hour buses are being cut, officials say.
Meanwhile, ferries from Long Island City to East 34th Street are being eliminated, but the Glen Cove ferry is still running.
The ferries were put in place to deal with any train backups during summer track work at Penn Station.
