The MTA is scaling back the extra services it put in place during the so-called Summer of Hell repairs at Penn Station.
Starting Wednesday, the agency says it will reduce the frequency of buses between Manhattan and five Park and Ride locations on Long Island.
Buses that ran every half-hour during the morning and evening rushes will now run every hour.
Ferry service between Long Island City and East 34th Street is also being eliminated.
There will still be ferry service available from Glen Cove.
