MTA police: Taxi driver killed in Manorville crash drove through crossing gate at train crossing
Daniel Seagren was killed in the crash when his car was struck by a train and his passenger was seriously injured.

MTA police say a taxi driver killed in Manorville on Tuesday drove through the crossing gate at the Wading River Road train crossing.
They say the lowered crossing gate bent upon impact and passed over the top of the car without breaking.
Police initially said 49-year-old Daniel Seagren drove around the gate.
Seagren was killed in the crash when his car was struck by a train and his passenger was seriously injured.
