MTA police say one person was killed after being struck by a Long Island Rail Road train Thursday morning.
The incident happened just before 7 a.m. at the Mineola station.
Service was suspended on the Ronkonkoma, Port Jefferson, and Oyster Bay branches.
The LIRR says service says the incident caused delays as long as two hours.
