A school bus with children on board was hit by a Long Island Rail Road train Friday in Hewlett, according to the Metropolitan Transportation Authority.
The transit agency says the train from Grand Central to Far Rockaway hit the rear of the bus as it was blocking the West Broadway crossing around 3 p.m.
There is no word on how my children were on the bus, but News 12 is told no one was hurt.
