Police are asking for help identifying a man wanted for assaulting an on-duty MTA bus driver.

It happened yesterday afternoon just after 5:30 p.m. at the corner of 3rd Ave and E 163rd Street.

The 42-year-old MTA employee was operating the BX 15 bus when a man got on and started arguing with him.

The bus driver was punched in the face by the man.

Police tell us the suspect took off on a bicycle and was last seen wearing a black hoodie with a large Nike Air lettering.
