If you take the train, there are some schedule changes taking effect today.

The MTA is adjusting some rush hour trains, adding new afternoon trains from Brooklyn.

The changes will address riders' complaints about the lack of Brooklyn-bound service to Atlantic Terminal.

Many of the trains were eliminated with the opening of Grand Central Madison.

There are some changes to morning trains along the Babylon and Port Jefferson branches.

There are also other changes on the Hempstead, West Hempstead and Oyster Bay branches.
