A man was killed in a crash between a car and a motorcycle in Nassau County Monday afternoon.

Homicide Squad detectives report the 56-year-old was operating a 2025 Indian motorcycle northbound on Cedar Swamp Road in Jericho when he collided with a 2020 Subaru around 3:30 p.m.

The 32-year-old woman had been making a left turn onto Old Jericho Turnpike at the time of the incident.

The motorcyclist, whose identity was not released by police at this time, sustained serious injuries and was taken to a local area hospital where he was pronounced dead by a physician.

The driver of the Subaru was not hurt and remained on scene, Nassau police say.

The investigation is ongoing.
