Mostly sunny skies, warm weather expected across Long Island through the weekend

WHAT'S NEW: A nice stretch of weather will linger into the weekend with mild & mostly sunny afternoons. The mornings may have some patchy fog for us to deal with.
WHAT'S NEXT: A chance for showers returns Sunday but that threat isn't looking to promising right now.
TROPICS:
There are 3 disturbances being monitored by the National Hurricane Center.
LISA – The system is a category 1 hurricane and after making a landfall in Belize Thursday evening, it will move across Southern Mexico, coming out into the Southwest Gulf of Mexico, and slowly fade away as a depression.
MARTIN – The system is a category 1 hurricane, located well out in the North Atlantic Ocean. It will be moving towards, by Sunday, Great Britain but weaken down to a big rain, wind and wave making tropical storm.
A third system is a tropical wave in the North Caribbean Sea. It has a low (20%) chance of development in the next 5 days. It's moisture could come towards the Southeast US by Tuesday.

OVERNIGHT: Mainly clear skies with some minor patchy fog, especially by the coastal areas. Lows: mid to upper 40s.
THURSDAY: Mostly sunny and pleasantly mild in the afternoon. Highs: upper 60s. Lows: upper 40s to low 50s.
FRIDAY: *Pick of the week* - Mostly sunny skies, mild to warm temps and a light breeze after patchy fog burns off. Highs: upper 60s to low 70s. Lows: mid 50s.
SATURDAY: A mix of sun and clouds with breezy winds in the afternoon. Highs: upper 60s to low 70s. Lows: upper 50s to low 60s.
