Rain moves in this evening; tracking colder temps for the weekend for the Bronx

It's mostly clear, chilly and calm this morning with temperatures in the 40s. Clouds increase throughout the day.
Today will be partly sunny, chilly with light winds. Rain arrives after 4 p.m. to 12 a.m. Expect a few downpours around 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. to reduce visibility and cause puddles in low lying areas. Highs are in the upper 40s, low 50s.
We catch a break from the rain on Thursday. It turns brisk and blustery with plenty of sunshine. Clouds build on Friday with a nearby storm system giving us the chance for a few rain and snow showers Friday night into early Saturday. The exact timing and track is still subject to change, but it's looking more likely to see some wintry precip. Heavy snow is likely to remain offshore. Stay tuned for updates.
