Long Islanders are cleaning up this morning after the storm dropped several inches of snow across parts of Long Island.
According to the National Weather Service, several places in Nassau County including Roosevelt (4.1 inches) and Syosset (4 inches) saw among the highest snow totals on the Island.
Conditions improved as you moved farther east to Suffolk County, where Stony Brook (3 inches) and Mount Sinai (2.8 inches) saw less of the storm.
This morning, most of the main roads, including the Long Island Expressway and parkways, were fairly clear. Public works crews were plowing secondary and local residential roads before sunrise.
The utility companies are not reporting any major storm-related outages across the area.
Drivers should still take it slow this morning even if the roads look clear in case ice has formed along wet roads with temperatures well below freezing.
