New record high Thursday of 84. Beats the previous record of 82 set in 1977.
WHAT'S NEW: One more day of record breaking temperatures before a weekend cooldown.
WHAT'S NEXT: This weekend will be mostly cloudy and cooler with scattered showers, mainly Saturday afternoon through Saturday night. Daytime highs will generally be in the low 60s through this weekend into next week.

FRIDAY: Mostly sunny and very warm with record highs. Highs near 79 with southwest to south winds 5 to 15 mph. Becoming cloudy at night with lows near 54. Patchy fog possible. Sunset: 7:31.
SATURDAY: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers, mainly arriving during the late afternoon and lasting into Saturday night. Highs near 66. Lows near 50.
SUNDAY: Cloudy and cooler with the slight chance of a passing sprinkle or shower. Highs near 63. Lows near 48,
MONDAY: Mostly cloudy with a good chance of scattered showers. Highs near 63. Lows near 48.
TUESDAY: Breezy with sun and clouds. Highs near 58. Lows near 42.
