The mother of a disabled teen says she's tired of being left out when buying tickets for concerts and sporting events.
Daniela Tobie, of Wantagh, says she cannot purchase pre-sale tickets for her 17-year-old son, Lenny, who is wheelchair-bound.
Tobie says she can't order online like everyone else and has to call, and when she calls is told the pre-sale doesn't pertain to wheelchair seating.
However, when she orders at general sale, Tobie says there's usually nothing available. If she does get seats, she says there isn't enough companion seating to allow her entire family to be seated together, and Lenny's view is also obstructed.
Tobie says the American Disabilities Act says pre-sale tickets need to accommodate those with disabilities.
