Molloy College announced it is now requiring all faculty and staff to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 for the upcoming fall semester.
The college cited the spread of the delta variant as a reason for the mandate.

Michael Getz, of Plainview, says he thinks the mandate is a good thing with the delta variant spreading.
"We really have to do something about it if we're going to be able to keep this country in a good place, if we are going to be able to bring things back under control," says Getz.
The requirement comes after the college announced in July that all students must be fully vaccinated before returning to school. Students must be vaccinated by Aug. 25.
Adelphi and Hofstra are also requiring students to be fully vaccinated. Stony Brook is requiring all students living on campus to get vaccinated.
Molloy officials say all vaccinations for faculty and staff must be completed by Sept. 1.
