Officials say the flag that flew over Ground Zero in the days following the 9/11 attacks has been found.
Police in Washington State have spent two years confirming that the flag that somehow wound up in their possession is the right one.
The flag is part of an iconic image of firefighters raising the flag over the rubble.
The flag will be donated to the National September 11 Memorial and Museum.
It is not clear how the flag ended up in Washington.
