Minimum wage increases to $15 across Long Island

Thousands of Long Islanders will see a bump in their pay today.
Minimum wage in Nassau and Suffolk will increase to $15 an hour for all workers.
It is the final increase under a multi-year plan that saw minimum wage in the city climb to $15 an hour in 2018.
North of Westchester, minimum wage will increase to $13.20.
