Spectators lined the streets of Manhattan this morning for the annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
The city said it had more than 2,500 police officers stationed along the parade route. That's the largest number of officers ever at the event.
City officials said there were no known credible threats against New York following the recent terror attacks in Paris, but security was tight nonetheless.
Officials estimated that about 3 million people would line the streets of Manhattan to see the marching bands, musical acts and huge balloons.
