News 12 Storm Watch Meteorologist Sam Augeri says cold and windy weather is on the way before a chance for rain on Friday.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
-A shot of cold weather coming in the next two days. Wind chills will be in the 20's with afternoon highs about 10 degrees below normal. There is the chance for the first flurries of the season to fly by briefly tomorrow afternoon otherwise our weather is mostly clear and dry through Thursday.
-Thursday is my pick of the week for nice and sunny, seasonable weather
-Rain returns Friday afternoon, clearing by Saturday morning. Another storm arrives late Sunday with the chance for prolonged showers and gusty winds through Tuesday.
OVERNIGHT: Mostly clear, breezy, and cold. Lows near 30 degrees with wind chills near 20. West northwest winds 10 to 20 mph.
TUESDAY: Breezy and cold with sun and clouds. Chance for a few passing flurries during the afternoon. Highs near 39 with wind chills in the upper 20s and lows 30s. West northwest winds 15 to 30 mph.
TUESDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear, cold, and breezy. Lows near 24 with wind chills near 20. Northwest winds 10 to 20 mph.
WEDNESDAY: Cold with sun and clouds. Less wind. Highs near 39. Lows near 28.
THURSDAY: Sam's Pick of the Week! Sunny and seasonable with highs near 49. Lows near 39.
FRIDAY: Some morning sun gives way to increasing clouds. Good chance for rain in the afternoon through Friday night. Mild with highs near 53. Lows near 49.
SATURDAY: Sun and clouds. Highs near 52. Lows near 37.
SUNDAY: Partly sunny with rain showers developing late in the day into Sunday night. Turning breezy. Highs near 50. Lows near 40.
