Sun and warmer than normal temperatures are in store for Long Island Wednesday ahead of some rain.

Scattered rain showers are in store for St. Patrick's Day.
There will be light winds Thursday with rain totals near a quarter of an inch.
There will be calmer weather for Friday with highs near 60 degrees.
There will be more rain to start the weekend ahead.
