A Port Washington man that was upset about trees being removed in his neighborhood has been arrested for allegedly threatening to shoot out the windows of North Hempstead Town Hall.

Officials say Michael Olson, 59, is accused of making the threats during a phone call to the town concerning trees that were removed near his Revere Road home yesterday morning.

Operations at the town hall were temporarily shut down as a precaution.
