Young baseball players in Nassau County got to learn from one of the pros.
Mets pitcher Nolan McLean attended a clinic on Thursday at the Lou Anthony Sports Complex in Massapequa.
The rookie is in the Mets starting rotation and was a starting pitcher for Team USA in this year's World Baseball Classic.
The right-hander took time out of his busy schedule to meet some of his young Long Island fans and give them some pointers.
"My favorite part was meeting Nolan McLean!" Jackson Bolanos, 9, said of the clinic.
McLean also signed autographs and took pictures with the little leaguers.
