A community meeting was held at a Uniondale church after a man was gunned down outside the building on Sunday.

The pastor of Tabernacle of Joy Baptist Church called the emergency meeting to calm parishioners after a man was shot outside while religious services were underway.

Police say Jonathan Mack argued with victim Isaac Andrews before taking out his handgun, opening fire and fleeing the scene. Mack is still at large.

Andrews was taken by car to Nassau University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

About 70 worshippers were inside Tabernacle of Joy Baptist Church attending services at the time.
