Witnesses say a Medford woman is dead after a bizarre accident on the west service road of Sunrise Highway in North Patchogue.
Witnesses say the unidentified woman was slumped over the wheel when her car sped across the parking lot of Gateway Plaza at 6:30 p.m. last night.
The woman was launched into a truck on the service road and died.The truck driver, Matthew Wick, of Brookhaven, was seriously injured.
