One confirmed case of measles was reported at Newark Liberty International Airport earlier this month.

Health officials are asking anyone who was inside Terminal B at Newark Liberty on Oct. 19 between 2:15 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. - and is feeling symptoms of measles - to see their health professional.

A non-New Jersey resident has been confirmed to have measles. Officials are now using contact tracing to alert others to their possible exposure.

Symptoms can include flu-like symptoms, as well as flat red spots that begin on the face and hairline before spreading.

Based on the date of possible exposure, symptoms can occur as late as Nov. 9.
