Matthew Rooney, of East Moriches, arrested in deadly Eastport home invasion

A second arrest was made in the Eastport home invasion that killed a father of four last month.
Matthew Rooney, of East Moriches, turned himself in to authorities Thursday morning.
Authorities say Rooney was with Paul Batterson, 22, of East Moriches, when the pair broke into Francisco Pirir's home on East Moriches Boulevard and demanded money.
When Pirir said he didn't have any money, prosecutors say Batterson shot Pirir in the face.
Prosecutors said the shotgun used in the crime was discovered at Batterson's home earlier this month, along with other evidence linked to the murder scene.
Batterson and Rooney pleaded not guilty to felony second-degree murder and assault charges.
They are both being held without bail.
