A 25-year-old Mastic woman was found stabbed to death in her apartment Friday and police say her body may have been there for several days.

Police say Laura Pizzini?s body was found by a relative going to her Neptune Avenue apartment to check on her. According to authorities, Pizzini worked at a local florist and lived in the apartment alone.

There were no signs of forced entry, according to police.
