A Mastic man has been sentenced to 13 years in prison for his involvement in a shooting last August.
Tyriek Corbin, 24, was found guilty of shooting an illegal gun into a car in Shirley.
It happened when Corbin got into an argument with two people who were in a car searching for their lost dog.
As the car was trying to get away, it was hit with three bullets.
