A massive brawl at a holiday barbecue in Ridge left five people seriously injured with stab wounds Monday.

Police say the fight started after a 23-year-old Selden man was kicked out of the Ridgehaven Drive barbecue. According to investigators, the man returned with several friends and an all-out brawl erupted. Cops say 20 to 30 people carrying knives, pipes and golf clubs spilled out onto the street.

Authorities say at least five people were stabbed, two of whom are listed in serious but stable condition. Detectives say arrests are expected after an investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
