A man accused of driving drunk with a suspended license and crashing his vehicle was arrested Sunday in Southampton.
Police say 58-year-old James Reynolds collided with a snow embankment by County Road 39 and Shrubland Road around 4 p.m.
Responding officers determined that he was intoxicated and took him into custody.
Further investigation revealed that he also had an active Nassau District Court bench warrant.
No injuries were reported. Police say the charges against him include DWI, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and an additional traffic infraction.
