Police are searching for the man they say broke into two Lindenhurst businesses and stole cash.
Detectives say the man forcibly entered Paris 1 Nail Salon on Wellwood Avenue through a back door and stole $1,000.
A short time later, the man went next door and got into Vicky’s Casa Del Sabor the same way, officials say.
Police say he stole $4,000 from the register at that store.
Both incidents happened last month.
