Officials say a man left his dad's body at the Nassau County morgue for months so he could steal his pension.
Christopher Bunn will be sentenced today for leaving his dad's body unclaimed for over a year, while he cashed his father's benefit checks.
The state comptroller says the Queens man admitted to stealing over $17,000 in Social Security payments and more than $7,500 in pension checks.
Bunn is expected to repay the cash and receive time served after his arrest.
