A man is accused of stabbing another man in Mastic Beach Tuesday night.

The two were involved in an altercation before the attack, Suffolk police say.

It happened around 9 p.m. on Magnolia Drive.

The victim was stabbed in the arm, then drove away and crashed into a nearby fence, according to police.

He was eventually transported to a local hospital.

The suspect fled the scene and has not yet been arrested.
