A man was seriously injured in a hit-and-run in Thomaston and a search is now underway for the driver.
Police say the 43-year-old victim was trying to cross Middle Neck Road at Barstow Road around 10 a.m. Friday when he was struck.
The man, whose identity has not been released, was hospitalized with multiple trauma injuries.
Police are looking for a gray or bluish-gray Nissan Rogue.
Witnesses are urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
