A West Islip man accused of shooting three teens with a BB gun has pleaded not guilty to three counts of assault.
Ismael Forbes, 20, was ordered to be held on $100,000 bond.
The prosecutor told the judge that Forbes was driving around West Islip shooting a BB gun at people. Some BBs missed, but three teens were hit.
The shooting happened at the corner of Higbie Lane and Udall Road in Bay Shore last month. One teen was shot in the chin and another was shot in the nose, and both needed surgery to remove the BB pellets.
Another teen was shot in the cheek.
Forbes is expected to appear in court again on June 25.
