2ds agoAn Army veteran has pled guilty to charges stemming from an altercation with former Shirley Rep. Lee Zeldin.
David Jakubonis, 44, climbed onto the stage and appeared to lunge at Zelden with a keychain with sharp points.
He allegedly repeated the words "You're done."
Jakubonis' attorney says his client was drunk and trying to get to the microphone.
Jakubonis faces up to a year in prison and a fine.
