A Yaphank man was killed when his vehicle veered off the road and struck a tree.
The crash happened shortly after 7 a.m. on Montauk Highway in East Moriches, west of Bay Avenue.
Police say 30-year-old Thomas Kenny, of Yaphank, was pronounced dead.
The cause of the crash is not yet known.
