Police are searching for the suspect who gunned down a Bay Shore man at a Brentwood house party Saturday night.

Police say the suspect crashed a house party on Yarnell Street at around 10 p.m. and shot 27-year-old Douglas Martinez, who was outside on the front lawn. The Bay Shore native was rushed to the hospital, where he later died. Neighbors say they saw the shooter run down the street before he got into a car and left.

Police are investigating whether the shooting was gang-related. Anyone with information is asked to call Suffolk County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
