A man is in serious condition after being hit by a U.S. Postal Service vehicle in Levittown.

Police say the 46-year-old was walking southbound on Jerusalem Avenue when the truck hit him.

Police say the man suffered trauma injuries to the head and body and was sent to the hospital.

The driver stayed at the scene.

An investigation is ongoing.
