The man accused of killing his wife inside their Huntington bagel shop in 2007 has been found guilty of murder in the second degree.
Robert Anderson faces 25 years to life for the death of his wife Ann. In addition to the murder charge, Anderson was also found guilty of criminal contempt for violating an order of protection.
Prosecutors argued that Anderson shot and killed his wife after she was given control of the bagel shop in a divorce settlement. Anderson?s attorney said Anderson killed her in self defense and had only entered the shop after taking a mix of sleeping pills, anti-depressants and alcohol.
