The remains of an adult male were discovered Saturday morning after a car plunged into the water in Kings Park.
Police say the car went into the water at the Kings Park Bluff on Old Dock Road at around 10:40 p.m. Friday. Divers searched the water, but nothing was found.
The man's remains were discovered at around 7:35 a.m. on a sand bar in the Nissequogue River.
The man's identity has not yet been identified.
