Man fatally stabbed on subway at Penn Station; suspect on the loose
NEW YORK - Police in New York were searching Sunday for a suspect who allegedly stabbed another man to death on a city subway.
Police say the incident occurred shortly after midnight on a northbound 2 train at Penn Station.
A preliminary investigation has concluded that the assailant stabbed the 32-year-old victim in the neck in an unprovoked attack. The suspect then fled through the station and remained at large Sunday.
The unidentified victim was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
