A man convicted of a 1989 murder that shocked a Long Island community will be up for parole in November.
Robert Golub is serving 25 years to life for the murder of 13-year-old Kelly Ann Tinyes in Valley Stream.
Tinyes' body was found stuffed in a sleeping bag in Golub's family basement closet on Horton Road.
Tinyes' brother, Richie Tinyes, says Golub is a "complete and total animal."
Golub was 21 when Kelly Ann Tinyes' body was found. Her brother is concerned that his sister's killer could get out.
"Every time we do this, his chances of getting out get better and better," Richie Tinyes.
There is an online petition to keep the convicted killer behind bars.
