Man charged in murder of Hempstead girl to appear in court

The man accused of fatally shooting a 12-year-old girl in Hempstead will face a judge today. Jakwan Keller is charged with second-degree murder in the death of Dejah Joyner. As News 12 has reported,

The man accused of fatally shooting a 12-year-old girl in Hempstead will face a judge today.
Jakwan Keller is charged with second-degree murder in the death of Dejah Joyner.
As News 12 has reported, Keller is accused of firing the shot that killed Joyner inside her Dartmouth Street house in October.
Police don't believe the Hemsptead girl was the intended target.
If he's convicted, Keller faces 25 years to life in prison.
