A Central Islip man has been arrested in the 2006 murder of a teenage girl.
Police have charged Elton Gorham, 22, with second-degree murder. According to police, 17-year-old Ebony Ponce was riding in her boyfriend's car in Central Islip when a shot shattered the passenger window and struck her in the head, killing her.
