A man was arrested on grand larceny charges for allegedly using a fake check to throw a party in Great Neck.
Police say 28-year-old Darnell Smith, of Brooklyn, wrote a check for $12,000 to Leonard's Palazzo.
The event was held in June 2015, but police say Smith's check was denied because the account numbers were fraudulent.
