Man accused of DWI in crash that injured passenger

A Northport man is accused of driving drunk and causing a crash that seriously injured a passenger in his car. Police say Michael Powell was intoxicated when he hit a tree on Sunken Meadow Road overnight

A Northport man is accused of driving drunk and causing a crash that seriously injured a passenger in his car.
Police say Michael Powell was intoxicated when he hit a tree on Sunken Meadow Road overnight near Kohr Road in Kings Park.
Powell's pasenger, Dennis Clancy, was airlifted to the hospital in serious condition.
Powell is charged with DWI and was due to be arraigned Sunday.
