News 12 Long Island has learned a Greenport man who drove drunk and killed a winery worker will not go to jail.
John Costello pleaded guilty on Thursday to vehicular manslaughter for the crash on Route 25 that occurred two years ago.
Prosecutors say Costello's blood alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit when he crossed into oncoming traffic.
Costello hit another car and killed Bartolone Miguel of Peconic.
Costello will be sentenced to probation, community service and has to make mandatory payments to Bartolone's family.
