Dr. Lorna Lewis, a teacher who became the first female person of color to serve as president of the New York Council of School Superintendents, has done it all in the education field.

She is retiring in a few months, leaving behind a legacy spanning 46 years.

News 12 caught up with the Malverne superintendent to share her story.
